Across more than 25 years in audit, finance, operations, and executive leadership, I’ve seen capable, committed people wrestle with challenges that might have another solution, if only they had the chance to look at them differently.
My career has taken me through Fortune 100 financial institutions, private equity-backed businesses, and founder-led companies. My experience also extends to professional association leadership and nonprofit governance. Across these environments, I’ve noticed that when people are immersed in the day-to-day, it can be difficult to recognize alternatives that someone with a different perspective might see.
I’ve approached that from several vantage points, starting in external audit and moving into CFO and operations leadership, financial reporting, governance, and business transformation. Long before AI, I was redesigning audit workpapers, modernizing financial systems, and improving processes and reporting so information was more reliable and decisions better informed.
What has always motivated me is seeing an opportunity for improvement and finding a practical way to move it forward. Sometimes the answer is straightforward. Other times it calls for deeper analysis, collaboration, or a different approach entirely.
